Received a call, answered and they never said a word. Hung up and called from work phone and said my call was very important to them and wait for the next available agent. Hung up and blocked em from calling my cell.
The correct name of the company is First National Collection Bureau. They are located in Reno, Nevada but they spoof local numbers from all over the country. They have had lots and lots of complaints, for example offering discounted "settlements" on debts that have expired or don't exist, then reneging on the offers and billing for the full amount. There are also allegations that they harass people by using illegal robocall equipment to call cell phone numbers just so they can hang up whenever the victim answers.
Showed number & Oklahoma on my caller ID at 1:26 this afternoon (6/19/2015). I have my fax setup on the house line; so whomever it was got an earfull of fax tones. Ha!
