just did tonight...claims to be a security company offering a "free home security system". woman who called sounded like the typical Okie...could barely understand her probably due being inbred a dozen times and missing most of her teeth.
Received a call and the caller said they were with U.S. Security Company and they were going to have a drawing for a free security system and wanted to know if we needed one. I told her we already had one and she said thanks and hung up.
This is solicitation company. They call first to see if you answer. Then when you do they call back shortly. I do not want calls from them. I am on the no solicit call line.
Please remember that just because when you research the # and it gives you a name and location-it does not mean that is real. I know this because our # was spoofed 2 years ago. We found out because we received a call from ourselves. Our name and # showed up on our caller I.d. It happened to 2 of our neighbors also.
