This is a persistent scammer. They called me twice in one day. Once at 10:37 am on 03/02/2017 and the 2nd time at 12:59 pm on 03/02/2017. I do not have voice mail set up just so I do not have to listen to it. They were not on my contact list so I did not answer. I have a very long list of contacts so if they are not on my list I usually don't answer.
I received a call from 405-543-1744 on my personal cell, as did my husband, and my office also received a call from it. After you say hello, a female's voice responds, it initially sounds like a legit call until you realize the voice is not responding to what you say and it's a recording. The female identifies herself as "Emily" and asks if you can hear her because she's having trouble with her headset. She goes on to explain that you have been contacted because you previously stayed at one of their resorts and now qualify for a discounted vacation, this time it was a Disney Cruise. This spiel lasts about 30-60 seconds, then she asks if she can ask you a few questions before transferring you to a representative. If you say no, the call will end; I don't know what happens if you say yes. I called the number back to see who answers and got a recording of a male's voice stating that the survey you had been selected for has now ended. The recording was poor quality (cracked and popped) and stated you could press 9 to be removed from the call list. We have blocked the number.
Same number 405-543-1744 about vacation discounts, if you say "yes" they will record you and use as false proof that you said you will sign up for their offer. I'm trying to find a way to get transferred and then we can obtain more information on these scam artists.
They ask if you can hear them. After you say "yes" the "yes" is what they will use in court to prove your consent. These people are bottom feeders with no integrity. Meanwhile the FTC never got back from lunch.
