These people keep calling and placing me on hold.  Who is this?

It asked me to verify if I was Pamela and then disconnected.

This person called a Mr Kent, didn't ask for anyone in perticular but said it was very important to call him back today, left a number to call  back 866-295-9370. He was talking very loudly, like on speaker, and I didn't call the number back because I felt like it was a scammer. Didn't leave a company name, which made me very suspicious. I don't plan to call this idiot back!!
