This number has been calling me at least 10 times per day at all hours.
They never say anything and so I quit answering for a while...I got a referee
whistle and now when I get a call from an unknown number,I answer and without
saying a word, I blow the whistle as hard as I can and then hang up. Guess
what? Unwelcome phone calls are few and far between and only come from
people I know.
This number called my home 8 times today between 10 AM and 130 PM. They never left a message and the last call they made, I answered. The woman on the other end of the line asked "is this the xxxxx residence" and I answered "no, you have the wrong number". She then continued that she was calling from a political group in my area ( she is located almost two hundred miles from me) and babbled on about urging me to vote for a specific something. I kept telling her that she was calling the wrong number as she babbled. Then she said, 'sorry, we won't call again".
I am on the do not call list yet these political calls are exempt from that. I feel that this is wrong.
Got repeated calls from this number on the night of 8/22/2012. No one would reply when I answered. Received at least 5 calls from this number. I finally told them that I had caller id and was going to get in touch with the operator.
