Continued calls from "Bank of America"

I just got a call from this number, on caller id says bank of america. but no one answered!

Got a call from this number and they asked for me then hung up. They have called twice so far.

Calls, and no one is ever there.

I called them back. An automated service answers the phone says:

"Once in a while, Bank of America calls with offers for services we feel you may be interested in. If you would like more information, press "1"."

So I pressed "1". It then asked me:

"If you would like for us to call you back, press "1". If you would like to be placed on Bank of America's Do Not Call list, press "2".

So I pressed "2". It then informed me that this request will take effect within 30 days, and will be honored by all Bank of America companies.

Hope this works, and I hope this helps someone else get rid of these annoying hangup calls.
