This is one time wasn't ROBOcall. Individual, who wouldn't identify himself, said "I am calling about troopers something or somesuch." I didn't listen to what he was saying since the question was "who are you?" There are a lot of these calls for "Marshalls," or "Police Association," or "Sheriffs something or other."
If truly calling on behalf of law enforcement, then why don't they make legitimate calls with callerID names that honestly reflect who they are. Well, you are correct Anon--if callerID name is "Unknown" there is no reason to answer because they sure won't identify themselves anyway. Again, you are correct, Anon, don't waste your time picking up the phone. Let go to voicemail. They won't leave message since they are dishonest and not truly representing a law enforcement organization.
I am sick and tired of whoever in the hell you are -- calling me. I have reported this number to the FTC. You don't have the courtesy to identify your miserable self -- sounds like you have something to hide. Well, do you?? My husband has cancer, among other illnesses and the NEXT TIME YOU WAKE US UP -- MORNING, NOON OR NIGHT, you will be soooo sorry. Your calls are deemed harassment calls according to the Fair Debt Collection Act. Do you understand?? I have a telephone log and recordings of every call you've made to my number. Don't even have the AUDACITY TO THREATEN ME OR MY HUSBAND because I guarantee you will regret doing so. You called our number at 8:55 P.M. tonight, being October 16, 2013, and woke my husband who had cancer surgery YESTERDAY... You don't know who I am but if you continue your pathetic behavior, you will meet me very, very soon -- with my attorney and a law enforcement official. You may have to find someone to read this to you because I do believe you are sitting on any brains you might possess. Again, do you understand??
Who ever is calling you may or may not read here.. I will make a suggestion for you since you have circumstances that you don't need these kinds of problems!
You can get a call blocking device or phone to stop this. The T-lock Incoming PRO Call Blocker sells for under 60 bucks on Amazon and can block up to 1500 numbers. It may also behoove you to go ahead and file a complaint with the Local PD and also to your phone service provider.. They may be able to block this number from calling or even try tracing it it back.
