My elderly and vulnerable father, who has dementia, was contacted by these people and they coerced him to provide his bank account number! THIS IS A SCAM! They took advantage of him and are trying to steal money from him! BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD! They pretend to be Life Alert...I've fallen and I can't get up! But they are not. The phone number is rigged and cannot be reached by any number that they have not called. Also, when you try to call back, it just sends you to voicemail. My investigation links it back to a "service" provided by Mays Housecall Home Health, one of the biggest Medicare fraud perpetrators in the state!
They called my office line and when I answered that it was for IBM he said "I must have the wrong number" and hung up. What really annoyed me that when I answered at first an idiot call director said "please hold" then the man came on the line. OBSCENE.
