Girl wanted to verify my address for telephone directory delivery... told her I did not want one. She asked which directory I used now. Told her I didn't use any hard copy directory. She thanked me said good bye. Seems legitimate?
got a call and answering machine answered.. the caller kept saying hello, hello, hello.. guess she thought someone live answered. I *69 to get number cause I dont have caller ID.. came here to see who it might be. no clue.. but I find it interesting that I registered with creditkarma and they asked for a mobile number so of course I entered a landline..ha ha..dont need spam or sales calls so I win..
I have received calls from this number at least once a day for the past week. I have no idea who it is, though caller ID indicates Verification FR. I will make any calls necessary to make them stop.
Got an unanswered call from this number. Voice message indicated that they were from the 'Daily Herald' newspaper confirming receipt of my payment for new service subscription which I had ordered couple weeks back. legit.
