I work at a bank and this is a SCAM!!!! I recieved the same message.Your bank will not text you to ask any information, nor call because they already have all that information at the bank. Please don't give them ANY information!! It is sad how many people we see get taken advantage of this way!!! Report it to your financial institution as soon as you recieve the text!!
Text msg from this number says: Bank Account Alert: Your Card has been Deactivated. Please Call: 205-378-3145. Looked up the 406 number, it states it's a CELL phone number in Billings, MT.
My husband and I both recieved the following text at 5:30pm PT: BANK ACCOUNT ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTlVATED. Please call 205-378-3145. Thanks for this L A M E interruption of our evening. I hope your scam gets busted.
