I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer my cell phone.

This is the part of the message that was left on my answering machine.

"If you are registered to vote in California press one, otherwise press two."

I live in California.

Number listed to Montana.

I did not call back.

Another call on my cell phone from this number with the same message.
I don't intend to answer and spend my minutes on some fool from Montana.

i got the same call and it left the same message. it just repeated "If you are registered to vote in California press one, otherwise press two." over and over until I deleted the message.

I kept getting this call during evening hours (8-9pm). The pre-recorded message asks if I'm registered to vote in California, which I am, but for grins I decided to press #2 where I was informed that "I have no more questions for you". Annoying! One more call and I'll see if the FCC can do anything about this.

that was a good idea to press 2. maybe now they won't annoy you anymore.
