She called around 10:00AM while my hands were full, just going out the door. When I got the phone to my ear, she was already talking, saying that we were on a recorded line, just while my "hello" greeting came out of my mouth. Then she started saying "hello?" "hello?". I don't want any recorded line recording me. And I was not hearing anything about who she was or why she were calling or recording. I hello-ed a few more times, like my connection was bad, and hung up. If anyone figures out whether this is a debt collector or a scamer, or hears a company name, would you please post such information? I see that one person posted that this number was from 'national education'. But why would they need to use a recorded line to make cold calls? Probably just another debt collector trying to pin someone down. Calls from this number might best go unanswered.
