This # calls often. Soldiers Angels name appears & I never answer. I'm all for helping our Vets, but with all the thievery these days, who can you trust???? I am already committed to supporting a few so no room for more. I would like to know how they got my number. Registered on the Do Not Call list. So many crooks preying on people's hearts and loyalty to the military. Shame, shame, shame.
I'm also on the do not call list. After I was called twice and they left no message, I blocked the number and they continue to dial, but my phone does not ring. Good thing I have unlimited calls.
This number called again today.The gentleman asked for the boss, and I offered to take a message. He said that the call was for either of us and identified themselves and mentioned another company name I couldn't catch. I told him if this was a solicitation call, we weren't interested and to place our number on his internal do not call list. After saying he'd do that, he was about to recite statistics about how much money goes to the charity. I stopped him and said we don't donate to ANY ONE calling over the phone, and I hung up.
From viewing the previously-mentioned CharityNavigator link, it appears this charity has two stars out of a possible four.
I don't have caller ID on my home phone so today I finally did the last number call service to find it was this number. I have answered several times and gotten the same voice asking for me by my first name. I immediately hang up but now they call nearly every day at different times, obviously trying to find me home. I have been on the Do Not Call list for years but that is a joke.
