Received call at 8:22 PM. My understanding is, by law, none of these solicitation calls can be made after 8:30 PM so they are pushing that deadline. Claimed to be calling on behalf of the VFW but supposedly not a solicitation for donations; I suspect political in nature. Told her I was on the Do Not Call list and never respond or donate when solicited by telephone; she said they are exempt. When I told her that she got very snotty and scolded me for interrupting her spiel. (My caller ID said "unavailable" but I should think legitimate callers provide more information.) I can only describe the female caller as an arrogant [***]. I will file a complaint about this call and suspect a scam!
