They don't leave a message but my phone identifies the caller's number. It is not the first time. Please do something to stop them. I am on the DNC list.
This is an outfit that is trying to make money somehow by reducing your credit card interest rate.
I always "PRESS ONE" to talk to them to waste their time. I talk really show and ask question after question and give them conflicting information and just confuse the heck out of them to waste their time. That is when I am not busy with work. I work out of my house and I view this as an unbelievable intrusion on my time. They should be subject to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY but apparently are not
Today when they called I pressed one and did not get through --the line "clicked" and I got disconnected.
First call came yesterday. REcording regarding reducing credit card debt. When I pressed one to try to tell them I'm on a do not call list and to tell them to remove me from their list, I got a recording telling me to leave my name, number, and the amount of debt I had and they'd call back. I hung up. Today they called and a real human was there when I pressed one. He wanted to know if I'd pressed one to reduce my credit card debt. I told him I was on a do not call list and he rather rudely hung up. How do you get rid of these people?
I've been told that these robot calls are testing to see what time you answer the phone, so that a real person can call you back. That's why they don't respond: there's no real person on the phone.
