Hey - I get these call too. Problem is that every time I get them - I quickly check this blog and find out its a telemarketer. But they call on my CELL! How do they all have my cell number and how do I stop them? ALL of them. For GOOD. Listed my number on the Do Not Call registry (which btw - is a cell - shouldn't even have had to take that step....) and it's all but worthless any ideas out there?
Sorry - one more thing. Is there anyway that 800notes might be able to come up with a Phone app that automatically blocks calls from any of the reported numbers? Any programmers on this blog that might want to make some extra money? The idea is yours. Free. Just post on this blog when it's all finished with the download instructions and give me a discount... I received 2 recorded messages from this number within 6 hrs. I pressed 2 the first time to be taken off of their calling list and it obviously didn't work. This is becoming harrassment and I want it to stop. It may be a coincidence, but I only started receiving the solicitation phone calls a day after I updated my phone contact information with XM satelite radio. If they are selling my number I want something done about it! Or want to know what I can do about it!
