Automated calls at least once a day, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a day. They hang up when my answering device picks up. This has been going on for about three months.
We have received dozens of this over the past several months. Finally today I had just had enough and I picked up the phone when this anonymous call showed up again.
After a couple of second some guy goes, "Hello this is Amnesty International may I speak to . . . "
Jeez, if you want to solicit money from someone stop using an anonymous Bozeman Montana number. Or at least leave a message on the answering machine!
I explained if they want to ask for money send us a letter through the mail because we would not answer any call that doesn't use a real name with the Caller ID.
The guy apologized and hung up.
I see that someone else says this number was for a Security Systme so maybe it is a call center for hire.
