Ive received several calls from this number. They call my younger sister too. I've received them off and on over the last couple years. I called the number back and I ask the guy his name, he says it's Mr. Howard. Then I ask him what company he works for, and he became irritated and hung up. I know it's a scam so I'm not worried about it.
Have been receiving phone calls for quite a while now. First from 708-983-7973, then 612-354-4073, then today 406-545-7374 all saying the same thing. Blocked what I can but now a call is coming in with unknown on the caller id but caller still leaves a voice mail. SICK and TIRED of this!!!!!! It seems that almost everytime they call its either a Monday or Tuesday. Two of the numbers say something about fraud charges the other one is from a Janet Daniels. Any one else had these?
They are scam artists, they stole information and try to threaten you to collect debt. Ask for their name and for them to spell it, then ask who they are with and what the call is in regards to, then inform them that you are recording the call and going to file a complaint with the DA and they will hang up immediately.
Scam artis. They claim you'll be taken to court if you don't pay back a pay day loan and that someone is already out to serve you papers. I told the guy to let me know where to meet them so I can get served and he couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked if he was attemting to collect a debt? He said they are not a collection company, but then turned around and asked if I would like to set up a payment plan. Not a collection company but wants me to pay them money....SCAMMERS! I filed bankruptcy and the pay day loan has been discharged, so I know for sure it's a scam. No need to worry about these people and don't let them scare you. He claimed they work for a company called Brunson & Associates & the number is from Billings, MT. If you look up that company in that city and state, nothing pulls up. There is no way a company would pay court cost to take someone to court for $200-$700.
