This call comes in with SSI as caller and these are the other numbers coming in with same ID 406-559-3117 and 406-559-3010. I answered the call from 3010 and they disconnected my call then started calling with these other two numbers to which I now let go to the answering machine so I can block. Persistent people whatever they want and its getting later each night.
They called my number at 7:40 in the evening. I didn't answer and there was no message. I finally just called back. It's a survey company looking for your participation blablabla. Not sure why they have my DO NOT CALL number.
The DNC does not apply to some survey's, only those that attempt to sell you something (goods or services) at the end of the survey. they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards. Some states have different laws in regards to the calls, which can differ from the federal.
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
