I keep getting phone calls and a lot of the time the caller id says that it's a local heart center. They are using the guise of card member services and say something about it's the last opportunity to lower your rates. Then they make you wait for a few minutes before someone comes on the line. I keep telling them that I don't have a credit card and I have also asked them why the caller id is saying it's a heart center. They abruptly hang up when questioned. I have asked them to stop calling me to no avail. I even called the Heart Center who told me that they aren't calling me, and to call the authorities. The number that they ares using is a doctor  referral center with only incoming calls and no outgoing calls.
I wish they would stop calling me. It's so annoying. I have been getting scam calls for a long time from an Indian man with a thick accent trying many different methods to try to trick me. On one call where they said it was card member services they told me that someone had taken out a credit card in my name, which was a lie. Most of the time they would say that they were from Microsoft and wanted me to give them access to my computer frantically saying that I had a virus and my computer was going to crash. They wanted to steal my info, but I didn't give them access. I wish there was some way to stop these criminals.
