I also just received a call stating that I was purposely trying to avoid being served with papers and they would show up at my place of business if I did not agree to "meet them" somewhere. Really? I literally don't go anywhere besides work or home so it would be pretty easy to serve me right here where I live. They stated I had already missed one court appearance. Come on now...I would have gotten an official notification if I needed to appear in court. They really must deal with a lot of dense people who fall for this or are scared easily. I refuse to even talk to them. I will save all the messages in case I need to file a harassment complaint against them, but please don't be sucked in by them. If all of this was on the up and up people would be being asked to "meet them" somewhere to be served with "official" paperwork. Kind of creepy actually.
Just reicved a message saying I was a contact person for someone I obviously don't know and left a case and plaintiff number. I called back and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. On top of that it's from a different state
Thank you for your post. Same people called me. I took your advice and told them they were in violation of section 807..... he instantly got rude, screamed @ me when I said they left a false message saying someone I don't know could be arrested
He said we didn't say that, which they DID I have the voicemail!!!!!!! He hung up so i called back with *67 and he said he could still see my number and he would file a complaint on me and hung up AGAIN. I am going to look up state attorney general and file a complaint. Thank you again.
They told me I had some outstanding cases in Clark County, NV and they had tried to serve me and would be going to my workplace. Seeing as I have no tickets I knew it was BS but called the Clark County Court to make sure. Sure enough there is nothing in my name. Just some scammers trying to get money.
These [***] call people from around the country telling them they are gong to be served with papers. So stupid. They are in NC, how're they going to serve people halfway across the country in nearly every direction?
