They called today 7/27 @ 4:43pm. Didn't answer since I don't know anyone in Montana. I did look it up in another website and found it showed it is from World Travel. No message left and they even waited until it was time for them to leave a message. I had to pickup and hang-up so I wouldn't get the system saying, "If you would like to make a call."
They probably got my number from the Do Not Call list kept in Ottawa. :(. But they are now BLOCKED. I don't answer if I don't either recognise the number or there is a name I recognise.
Yes certainly because that is the only way possible for them to get it. After all, they couldn't have used an auto dialer to call all the numbers in your area code and exchange. No heavens that wouldn't be possible now would it? They couldn't have used data mining to get your number no could they? No I am sure that isn't possible as well. They couldn't have gotten from the myriad of web sites that probably have it, your name, your age, and a picture of your house and car. No I am sure they couldn't have gotten it that way now could they? Oh, least we not forget, they couldn't have gotten it from hacked businesses that might have had it either, now could they? No I'm sure you are right, after all there is no other possible explanation now is there?
SCAM! Incoming call to a landline from 406-797-5192. When representative finally picked up they stated "I" had been to one of their resorts and was entitled to a free offer. After brief heavy, direct questioning, representative hung up. Return call to 406-797-5192 results in a recording that "all representatives busy and to press number 'x' to be called back or number 'y' to be removed from solicitation list". Line then disconnected.
