Received a call this morning at 8:15 am; voicemail stated they were the IRS and would be filing a lien against me today if I didn't return the call. Called back from another phone and the call was answered by someone with an Indian accent.
Just got the call and immediately Googled the number. I called back to confirm my suspicion and it was the Indian guy calling from a Montana phone number. He said I owed the IRS $6210 and that they would arrest me if I didn't pay it today. LOL I let him keep going on about it until I just hung up. Just a scammer trying to make a few bucks.
yes, I just got a call and a recorded message from a computer generated female voice saying she was calling from the IRS and they were going to file a suite against me. She provided the 406-924-9583 phone number for me to call, which I did not call. To whom do we file a complaint? Does the IRS care? What address or dept can we file a complaint to, with the IRS and with the Phone company?
Got a call from the "IRS" saying I had a lien and a possible suit against me... Funny, all my taxes have been filed correctly... And the ones this year haven't been filed yet.. SCAM. Do not call back!
