I received a phone call this morning from area code 406-924-9644. It was a recorded message claiming to be the IRS. It stated that the IRS was bringing a lawsuit against me and I should call a number provided immediately. 406-924-9644. They also called my 82 year old mom. She was scared and didnt know what to do! I still have the recording on my cell phone if anyone is interested in listening to it. 770-356-2635.
They left a message stating that they are filing a lawsuit with me because I owe the IRS money. I do not owe them any money. I also have not received anything in the mail
Received a call from automated dialer, it left a voicemail stating that a lawsuit from IRS was being filed and to call immediately.. Called back and luckily did not get thru..
Also got this call from 406-924-9819. Automated call saying IRS was bringing law suit against me. Googled it and found it was a scam. I also googled IRS real numbers just in case. Called the number back and a Man with accent sounding from India answered. When I asked for his full name and spelling he gets upset and asks me who I think I am trying to get information on him. When I told him I wanted to call the IRS direct number to verify he wasn't scamming me and if he was I would bring a lawsuit against him instead he tells me what do you expect when you idiots actually call us back and give us the money you stupid Americans deserve this for being such idiots.
