Call I assume from a computer. The number 4070002361 came up where the caller ID should have been. Tried to put my number on 'do not call' list, rejected it, probably because of my Canadian area code
Received a call from 1-407-000-2361. There was an automated message that I had been chosen to have a holiday in Cancun; press 9 to confirm. I pressed 9 to be able to speak with a live person who was not only EXTREMELY RUDE, and I must state, I was very calm, polite and courteous (I realize that many call centre employees do not know the methods that are used to drum up their business and I do not wish to be rude to them.) I expressed that I was quite frustrated at being called at all hours (I work shifts and am tired of having my sleep interrupted). The CSR who took the call just repeted over and over, "you're frustrated? you're frustrated? you're frustrated? you're frustrated? you're frustrated? you're frustrated? you're frustrated? you're frustrated?
He refused to pass me to a supervisor or to have my number removed from their call list.
I received a call from this same number, but did not bother to attempt to even speak to a representative. Instead, I filed a complaint on the DNC website.
