I received a call from 407-000-8585, they asked for my credit card number then when I asked what account they were calling about they didn't know and hung up on me. It's probably a scam to rip people off.
It is ABSOLUTELY a scam. Any reputable company would have their real phone number and name displayed and not hang up immediately when you questioned them about this info.
Any reputable company would NEVER ask for your account number on the phone. More likely they'd tell you they're calling about your account with the last 4 digits of ...xxxx.
