I received a call from this number at work and home asking me if I wanted to lower my interest rates on any of my credit cards that were above 10%. They also stated the card that had an interest rate above 10% must be 10% below of the balance (they did not want a credit card that was at the maximum with no available balance). Then they asked for the credit card number. And, I told them I would not give them my credit card number they then stated they was going to take me off there call list. It was a scam because you should not give anyone your credit card number.
Wants me to consolidate my non-existant credit card debt. When I told the man that I have no debt and have told them several times not to call me he said he could not hear me and would have to call back. No surprise that he didn't.
this call comes over and over, I tried to ignore it since I sleep during the day and work at night, but I finally "pressed 9" to talk to an operator, and the person on the other end didn't even say "hello" first. All they said was "do you have more than 3000 dollars in credit card debt?". I asked "what company do you represent" and they hung up immediately and wouldn't even tell me. I swear I have had a live person from this number before and have asked to be removed from the calling list.
I answered this call to request being taken off their call list (I'm already on the national do not call list). When I got live employee, and requested this he began using profanity and verbally abusing me.
The representative used abusive language, and profanity when I requested that he take me off the call list. He then hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor.
same as all else, call, took the call so i could tell them to take me off their list. so i get put on hold, wait for several minutes and no one ever answered. make sure you call the credit card company and tell them you do not authorize vendors to call on their behalf.
