This is a fake service that wants to lower your credit card rates in order to get you identification. Do not talk to them. They were suppose to take me off list and call me all hours of day and night very dangerous. Highly recommend staying away. Me
Recevied call today frome this #407-000-9473 pushed 9 to get off call list verry rude and was told "your an a**hole you F***ing B****" and they hung up. Am contacting AG, and BBB and an atorney, am tired of the calls. Time to get the law after these people!!!
I received the call, listen to the prompt pressed 2 to hear what they had to say.
Man answers asking if i wanted to find out how to lower my percentage rate on my current cards.
I asked... "How do you know my percentage rate?"
He replied..."Well mam, our rates are the lowest available so if you just verify your social security number for me I can tell you more about our services."
Me: "What company did you say this is?"
Him: "I'm (not, we are) Visa / Mastercard Company"
ME: "Well you called me so tell me what my current rate is on my Master Card (I don't have one)"
HIM: "First i need you to verify your social security number.
ME: Can you even tell me who you're talking too - your automated system called me.
HIM: "*Bleep* some more Bleeps - Ended with F*** B****" CLICK
We are on the DNC list. But this scam is sure to get many people. They need shut down FAST.

Ya know, it's funny.....this number or "organization" called again this morning....and when I spoke to some casual sounding fella named Chris (when he answered the call, he said "Yo, this is Chris, who am I speakin' to?" - really professional, yes?) and I told him that I am now calling the FCC because of the harassing nature of these calls. His response was (and this is what troubles me about this call) "The FCC???? If you call the FCC, I will be out of a job!" My response to him was "not my problem, maybe you should get a job with a reputable business then!" I am calling the FCC right now. Standby for an update.
I just spoke with an FCC rep who is going to send me a complaint form to complete and submit. The FCC is going to research this information and determine if the "organization" is legitimate or not. When I told the FCC rep the first six numbers of the phone number, they told me that the number isn't even a valid business number. How are these jokers (NOT the FCC mind you) getting through to numbers to call with this being an invalid number? Slick [***].
