Called again for the umpteenth time! They claim to be able to lower my interest rate on my credit card, but they continued, I must hurry because time is almost expired. I pressed nine and asked them who they was calling and what my credit card number was. She said she didn't have my credit card number, so I asked her what they knew about me, wich also met with no reply. How does one clear up these endless calls when we cannot indentfy the caller?
yeah.. they call and when I tell them how they got my number when i am on a no call list the hang up. card holder services also uses 407-000-6248 and who knows how many other 407-000-xxxx they have,
I have learned not to answer calls that say unavailable. I'm trying to get my husband to do the same. This time we didn't answer. Maybe they will stop calling. Usually there is no one there anyway.
Call begins with a recorded announcement telling me that I qualify for reduced interest rates on my credit cards. Recording asks me to press 9 to speak with an agent. When I press 9 and get connected to a live person, I inform them that the number they have called is on the Do Not Call Registry, whereupon they promptly hang up. I have, and will continue to file complaints with the Federal Trade Comission at: www.donotcall.gov
