They are probably using a for-profit telemarketer to solicit donations. Might be ACS, Associated community services in Southfield Michigan but not sure. They are a total scam organization, fined by several states for misleading practices.
Sounds like my history with this number; FAV on Caller ID, called twice on 3/31--each time was a "double-dial", presumably to trip a callblocker and then get thru. My solution: put it in the callblocker with and without the "1-" which would catch both calls. Time to block it.
Started calling this morning with caller ID showing FAV. Doesn't leave a message when the answering machine picks up. I call blocked after the second call, so even though my phone didn't ring with any call from them after that, caller ID shows they have called 7 times today.
