Florida number. Scammers trying to get your credit card number. "Michael Williams" implying he is calling from timeshare exchange company RCI, Inc. RCI confirmed that his 'pitch' was a scam.
Another of their phone numbers is 407-205-7056 ("Justin Taylor").
From California, just spoke with "Michael Williams" trying to get us to activate 12 weeks of unused "Extra Vacation Getaways" for $149 a week & we will receive $1,200 for each week that is then rented out to folks in town for conventions! Wow! Are we glad that we called RCI to check up on this deal that seems "too good to be true"!
Thanks to the recent posts, my sister was not scammed out of money! Michael Williams also contacted her and guess what... same pitch, if it's too good to be true, then it is not true!
I got this call yesterday and when i contacted RCI they stated they did not have such a program. Justin Taylor stated i would get $1,200 for the 12 weeks of unused vacation time that expire in april. i decided to google the phone number they gave me which i thought was strange it was not an 800 number. he used 407-205-7056. he even had me log onto rci.com/insiderci to show he was legit.
