The sad part is, this number belongs to a really nice gent in Florida. He is a realtor. Some scum bag spoofed his number. They called me and the call hung up when I answered. This should be absolutely illegal!!
Scam! Recorded message, offering to lower all my credit card interest rates to 0%. I pushed "3" to decline it - I don't have time to mess with them today.
Just get call from a female states she monitor my credit 6 months, good credit so can get 0% interest press 3 to apply or opp out, I press 3 and hope can talk with a live person and tell he/she take my business number off their calling list by I do not use plastic but press 3 no body there hear blank tape running. Scammer???
It IS already very much illegal, but these callers are crooks so they just don't care. They are likely based in India, Pakistan, or other place outside the US, but many of them have still been arrested, and no doubt will be again...
