I got calls from the same guy who became very aggressive when I politely told him that I was not interested in what he is promoting. He also calls now and remain silent on the phone. I asked who is calling and he hung up.
I called the local police, Non-emergency. They told me to record five days of calling activities from this number and report it online. A police report number will be given when it's done. Then the police can get the phone company involved and trace this number and this person.
received a call from Chris at the "National Energy Association", claiming energy technicians would be in my neighborhood to conduct a 20 home energy audit to save me up to $4k from the US govt. When I advised I was on DO NOT CALL LIST, he became defensive. Chris told me, "I am not selling you anything just setting appointments." I asked for a company phone number and address. He advised, "there are crazy people out there...we do not give out that information...are you going to set an appointment or not?" I cannot find any info on NEA, so I will be contacting FL Atty General Office.
I also just got a call from this number; he tried to set up an appointment but immediately hung up when I asked him to repeat where he was from. Tried calling the number back; number is not accepting messages. Very suspicious and shady. Stay away
Received a call from this nunmber. I said hello 3 times, but there was no answer. I tried calling back the number, but it went directly to mailbox stating that the mailbox was full.
