Got a call asking for mother in law. We take her calls since she is in our care. They asked to speak to her. I said that I handle all her calls. They said it was personal and could only speak to her. I told them to call back when they knew she would answer the phone and not me. Well, that isn't going to happen. The number (407-249-1572) came back to that Rodriguez person at that same address. The address is the FHP HQ, Troop 'D' in Orlando. They should be told. If you call that number; it is out of order or disconnected.
Have had repeated calls on voice mail. Reached me at home last night. First told my wife that we owed $5000 on a Visa card . Wife told them that we did not have Visa and they wanted to "verify" the last 4 digits of my SSN. She gave phone to me and they said I had had a car repossessed. I have never owned the brand car they mentioned. Again they wanted the last 4 digits of my SSN to verify. I hung up!
Had a call from this number, the caller asked for a person that I never heard of. This continued for three days all from people who spoke with Indian/Asian accents. The last call actually gave me a social security number of the person who they are trying to reach.
Another call for my mom-in-law; "personal business matter."
Told him I had power of Attorney. He asked me to fax him a copy. DO NOT FAX THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING, BECAUSE YOUR FAX OR PHONE NUMBER WILL PROBABLY APPEAR ON THE COPY THEY GET.
The call came from the 407-249-1572, which we know is bogus. He gave a call-back number of 866-218-3885. All bogus. If I were you I would just tell them that whoever they ask for has died.
