Same ploy just received the same call. and I know from past mistakes they keep 99.9% of the money.. dont fall for it.. i did it twice!! my Dad was a fireman, I have a soft spot for them..hung up on them today as soon as they started talking..
Hello we are scammers... The Florida order of police..."Do not"Call you for whatever reason for donations to help their cause ... no police agency within the state of Florida or any other state that I am aware of does this sort of practices... You may donate to them, but I'll guarantee that they keep 99% of it within their own hands if anything would go to the police 1% would go to them... How do I know this ..?my son is a police officer.. Here in the state of Florida..! So to these merry bunch of idiots who are phishing and scamming .."Happy New Year" your filthy animals..... And may everything you do to others bite you in the [***] in the end..!!!
