Someone asked to speak to my wife, I asked what it's about and said he needs to speak to her.about a travel request to the Bahamas. It sounded like scam as my wife knew nothing of it, and they won't tell me their company name etc...I then told them to [***] off and hung up!!!
I think they start by promising you all sorts of free trips and add ons then once they have u all excited they askfor yr credit card nfo to pay for registration and to hold your booking, and that's where u get yr credit cards hacked etc!! DON'T FALL FOR IT! Once they ask for CC details, ask them to call u back next week and they'll come up with anexcuse to have you pay immediately and provide yr card info!.... or just tell them to eff off. You've been warned....stay cool.
Received a call telling me I had won a trip to Florida & a cruise to the Grand Bahamas....apparently I had entered a contest 9 months ago.Asked for my credit card number & got quite upset when I refused....kept insisting they needed my credit card number, so I finally just hung up on them.
I just got a call from this number making the same kind of offer but insisted that I had made some kind of 3rd party agreement with some unnamed resort (3rd party agreement???) and still had some unknown obligation to the resort. There was an offer to help me out that included a tropical vacation. I never let him get to the part where he could ask for a credit card number. GET A JOB.
Im glad I came across this forum. These losers have been calling me for sometime. This time their story is that I opted for their trip for 2 and they put in some amount in my credit card for 1 person. Now the deal is expired and since I didnt use it, and the hotel paid the advertisers etc etc.. I owe them the money.. what a load of crap.
