Two nights ago I looked online at some charities. Yesterday I started getting bombed with fax calls from different numbers, (I don't have a fax), so many that as one was coming in, another would go to remote voice mail. About every 4 minutes! I called my service provider and they said all they could do is the block the call. I looked online to see who the caller is, (not available), and who their provider is which was available. I called their provider and they said they would take care of the problem, but the calls kept coming in. There are limits on the number of calls I can have blocked and it was already at it's limit, I had to remove some older blocks to add the new. Today it started up again at 8:00 am with a new number. We once gave to a very well known charity through the mail and suddenly our snail mailbox was full every day from dozens of charities we had never even heard of, so I am thinking these phone calls has something to do with looking at "well known" charities online, which I thought was a safe way to check them out. My number is private so I don't know for sure if one of the charity sites I visited somehow gathered enough information to call, but I can't figure out why suddenly I'm getting all these untraceable fax calls. They are the most annoying calls I have ever received! BEEP BEEP BEEP! If anyone has any idea what is happening, please post it and I will check back. Thanks
