I have gotten a call from this number two straight days and refuse to pick up. If this is a debt collector he has the wrong person my FICO is 800 plus. .
Great idea about inpersonating a police officer. Don't give money to them or any Firemen Assoc. They are all scams and the associations don't get the money.
There are exceptions to the Do Not Call list.

Check with BBB. No police dept solicits donations. It is a scam. Please do turn it in. Just got the same call myself, but did not answer it.
