I just received a the text, wondering how they got my cell phone number! Highly irritated. My daughter goes to the University of Colorado ( CU) , so I thought this was a text from the university. Glad I checked this sight first

I received the following text [email protected]: (Call: 4073477900 VaCap-FCU) the # asks u to enter your 16 digit account number to reactivate your debit card. Reported it to my bank as fraud. Will forward info to the Richmond police dept.
