I received an automated message stated that there was important information for anyone that uses eletricity to claim federal tax credits. Upon connecting, I was told that technicians would be in my area for a free energy evaluation for up to $3,500 in tax credits. When informed that I was on Do Not Call registry, the representative claimed they were not covered because they were not selling anything. There are similar complaints for 407-408-8581, 407-409-5217 & 407-666-1042 all in the last week, so I have filed a complaint on the Do Not Call website.

Upon connecting, I was told that the call was from the Energy Conservation Group and that technicians would be in my area for a free energy evaluation for up to $3,500 in tax credits. When informed that the call was ellegal because I was on State and Federal Do Not Call lists, the representative calling herself Tiffany rude and threatening.
A lot of people are getting this call, myself included. File a complaint with the Do Not Call registry. It will help them track the number down and put an end to this, hopefully costing the bogus company a fine.
