This call is actually coming from area code 309 - Illinois. The 407 371-7124 is a "spoofed" number and belongs to T-Mobile. Too bad they are getting a bad rep for a fraudulent person most likely trying to get id information or possibly trying to use your number to sell to overseas callers. Just don't answer. The VM is not the caller's VM.
You certainly can!
--> Stop depending on others to protect your phone privacy!
Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.
Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.
If you cannot use or afford to buy such a tool, then:
• Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
• Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers! All that does is verify your phone number! And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

• If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scam" (or similar). Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.
• Another option, for both smart and "dumb" cell phones: Assign a "silent ringtone" as DEFAULT. Then, assign your favorite ringtones to all known friends / family / business numbers. That way, you will hear rings ONLY from those you wish to contact! You will not hear scammers' rings, even if they change their number! (This is also called "whitelisting").
If you want to report potential fraudulent or scam calls, here are two pages of links to (mostly government) sites in Canada and the USA were you can report those scams, or learn more about them.

I have a call blocker - but the calls still come in! The phone rings once and then goes to the blocker ... if I am on another line, the call will ring and ring and ring. Why should you or I have to purchase something to stop these calls? What if you or I had an emergency and the emergency number couldn't get through to us because of our call blockers? This sucks big time and honestly, I am tired of it! STOP TELEPHONE TERRORISM AND TELEPHONE PANHANDLING !!! Law enforcement has enough to do but our states should be able to put a end! (Florida does help better than the National - but if someone says that they are a "charity panhandler" ... I guess that's okay!
