They got me. :'(
A guy by the name of Kevin Beary called my boyfriend on January 2, 2014 claiming he got approved for a loan of $600. We had been trying to get a small pay day loan to get caught up on bills bcuz of Christmas & just needed some extra cash to make ends meet. Well Kevin calls telling my fb he got approved & in order to make the deposit in his account he would need to pay the first months fee of $170. He told my bf to get a GreenDot MoneyPack card, put $170 & call him back. I had just gotten a $500 payday loan, so we got the money out of my account & did what the guy asked. Then he calls my bf back & said there's something wrong with his account & it won't allow him to deposit the money, so we had to pay another $130 for an "unblocking fee" so that his account wouldn't block the deposit. So we do so. Well then dude calls back & says it's not allowing him to make the deposit so we need to pay $125 for someone to deliver the cash to our house, the $600 loan plus the $300 we paid in fees. I borrowed $120 from my brother to do this & Kevin said the guy would be there in a couple hours, dude never showed up. So they got us for $425. I should've known better but we were hurting so bad for money we were dumb & willing to do whatever to get help. I call the next day & ask why the guy never showed up & Kevin said it was bcuz my bf had 3 allegations of tax fraud & they would not allow him to release the money. The only way we could get the loan & our $425 back was if we paid one of the fees for the allegations. So we had the choice of paying $675, $891, or $1491. Well we didn't have the money to pay any of them & by then we knew we got scammed so we weren't sending anymore money.

Then I started getting calls from another number, 917.508.7558, & the guy's name was Steven/Brian Smith, he went by both. They wanted me to put money on a Vanilla Visa prepaid card to do the same thing we did with Kevin. Obviously I didn't do that bcuz I knew it was a scam. Come to find out they're friends working together to scam people. A girl from Oklahoma received calls from Steven & got scammed for $260. When she realized she was getting scammed & called them on it, they gave her my number & told her to ask for Kevin. She called & we got to talking & that's how I found out what had happened to her.

I'm a single mom w/ a 7 yr old little boy (my bf isn't my son's father) & these people stole $425 from me. The girl from OK was 19 & pregnant w/ her first child & was going to be losing her job bcuz of maternity leave & they stole $260 from her. These guys make me sick. They think it's fun & games to scam innocent people and totally screw their lives up. Bcuz of the money they got from me, I had checks bounce & my bank account is negative $1k. So not only did they get me for $425, but another $1k bcuz checks bounced, over draft fees, returned check fees & all that crap. $1500 in debt & behind on bills all bcuz these guys wanted to screw some innocent girl & guy for sh*ts & giggles. They're pathetic pieces of sh*t and make me sick. The worst part, it all happened on my son's 7th birthday. :(

I know I'll never get my money back & I'm working myself out of debt bcuz of these *ssholes, but what else can I do? I just want to warn others so this doesn't happen to them. So they don't fall victim to these scams & end up in a financial hole like myself. Beware of these scams, and there are a bunch of different one's. Here are a few:

1 - The Loan Scam: calling & telling you that you're approved for a payday or personal loan anywhere from $100 to $5000. They'll tell you that you need to show proof that you can make the first loan payment, that there's a processing or unblocking fee, or any kind of fee to get you to send money.

2 - The Lottery Scam: calling & telling you that you've won XX million dollars & a new car (they told me I won 13.5 mill & a 2014 Pontiac). They'll tell you that you need to pay a fee to get an IRS stamp on the check so that no taxes are taken out, or that you need to pay a certified delivery fee.

3 - The Grant Scam: they'll call telling you that you've been approved for XX thousands of dollars in a government grant to go back to school. Not sure what made up fee they tell ya to get you to send money, but they figure something out. I know people that have had this phone call.

4 - The Tax Scam: they'll call telling you that you have been audited on your income tax return & they have found your return to be fraudulent. & in order to prevent criminal charges being pressed & possible jail time, they'll tell you to pay a fee to settle w/ the IRS. I've had a friend get this one.

They come up w/ some crazy stories to do get money, and most of them you can't understand bcuz they foreign. But they prey on vulnerable people, pick up on their weaknesses & take every last penny they can. & for what?! I have no clue. One of the guys that got me told me it was bcuz of what my people did to his people. I was like wtf?! He told me that I should be held responsible for what my ancestors did to his ancestors. Really?! They asked me for sex, asked me to be their girlfriend & told me they would find me and rape me. They're sick sick b*st*rds & deserve to rot in hell. But instead they're rolling in the money they've stolen from thousands of innocent people.

I hope at least one person reads this & will not be scammed. If so, then I did what I wanted to do w/ this post & it's to prevent someone else from getting hurt like myself.

God Bless..
