A nice Indian speaking gentleman called me to tell me I was approved for a 5k loan. I let him go on and on until he VERIFIED my bank information. I did not give it to him. I asked how he got it, he said "You applied online" I asked him "What website?" He gave me websites to LEGIT payday loan companies. I guess to make me feel comfortable. Then he asked for my social. I told him NO. He was saying things like "Why are you so worried if you have no funds in your bank account, how can I take them?" I told him, "You could use my information to buy things online and sent to the warehouse he's in that will be shut down tomorrow because he will run and hide like the thieving coward he is." Theres more to it but just know, IT IS A SCAM. I'm pretty sure this phone # will be changed or deleted and probably a non traceable pre-paid phone. But look out for these red flags!
