Called today trying to interest me in "saving money on my energy bill". I told the guy with the thick foreign accent that what I was really interested in was having them take me off of their call list, and stop calling like I have asked them to do the last several times they called. Guess he didn't like that because he promptly hung up on me. Nice try scammer, but I don't think so!
Caller ID says "Wireless Caller". If you don't answer they do not leave a message, but they call back repeatedly. If you answer they say they want to save you money on your energy bill.
Same group of "energy audit" criminals that emerge every year or so. People report the number they are calling from and they just get a new number. It's a scam.
Got a call from this number had to say hello twice when a woman asks to speak to the person that handles the electric bill. Told her I wasnt interested and she responds with not interested in what? I told her in anything she is trying to sell me and that my number is on the do not call list and that she was violating list. I told her it would be in her best interest not to call her again or I would report her company and her response was how ironic and she hung up.
Received calls from number listed as a cell phone, usually no one talks, husband answered the phone & couldn't understand him & told them to put an American on the phone who he could understand & hung up. Number called back & I answered & person with thick accent asked for my husband & he got mad yelled & hung up. The number called again & I answered & he asked for my husband & I told him he was not available. He then said who is available & you can' t go making racist remarks & I wanted to know what was a racist remark? Asking to put on an American? He said that you could do it nicely & hang up or block the call. I told him we are tired of being harassed by unwanted callers & we don't want them calling any more. He was upset that my husband wasn't nice to him, I told him in his line of work he should be used to it. If he can't handle he should consider another line of work, he hung up on me! I wonder how many potential calls he missed. This is supposedly advantage energy source which I will never do business with. I was always taught to be nice, but these callers won't stop or take no for an answer. They either have to get everyone to agree to an energy assessment or maybe they are trying to see how many complaints they can get.
