NEVER reply to these scammers via text or call them. That's how you end up with a thousand dollar phone bill.  Street smarts folks! If you have an iphone and they call you, just block them.  Super simple feature with an iphone. Hit the details button on the text, hit the"i" button  in the upper right hand corner and scroll to the bottom of the page and click "block this caller".  Works like a charm!  You can also block callers from your cable company, online, if you have home telephone lines thru your cable company.  It's easy with optimum online in the phone link section.  Good luck!

got the same message and did not enter a contest i think they are playing on the word con as in artist

This number keeps calling repeatedly, even after I told the person on the other end of the phone that I have no interest and to stop calling me. I spoke to someone claiming I was chosen for a free cruise and all I needed to do was to tell all of my friends about it. Yeah Right! When the phone calls stop, they began to text me and leave a call back number as well as an email to contact them. Phone number is:407-476-0973 (call to receive my no cost voucher). The email address: [email protected]. They are now trying to get my email address, hoping I respond. No Way. SCAM for sure.
