Since we are listed on the Do Not Call List, we should not be receiving th4ese calls. This was a telemarketer, wanting to give us a free water quality survey. They say that, if we complete a survey and have them come do an evqaluation, we could win a 25$ gift certificate.
The DNC does not cover surveys. But this is obviously a sales call disguised as a survey. Now here is the thing. The TCPA allows you to sue them for $500 per call, possible treble damages or actual damages. If everyone who received a call from these crooks did that, they would be out of business and no longer bothering us.

Caller ID shows "OUT OF AREA". When I looked up the number it maps to a glass company in Kissimmee FL, so based on the other reports here whoever called you on this number is spoofing and therefore a scammer.
