received call this morning believed to be scam

Recived text message stating  (Hello ! Please call 1404769843 your attention is required ) suspect scam  as my Banks would either call or email me if a problem existed  .W

Recived the same text message stating  (Hello ! Please call 1404769843 your attention is required ) suspect scam  as my Banks would either call or email me if a problem existed. I see that many others have received the same message.

Just got the text.  Wasn't going to call that number before I read about it here and  certainly not now.
