I received a call at 6:19pm today from a man who introduced himself as Jay with Energy Consultants of America. He said the government has monies designated for homeowners for something having to do with saving energy so that American is not so dependent on foreign oil. He said that technicians would be in my area and he wanted to set up an appointment; and that it would be at no cost to me. I told him I didn't want people coming to my home unless I invite them. He said, "The technicians are not strangers to my area." I asked "What is your company's motivation for doing this?" He ignored my question and asked if I was a homeowner. I said "No." He said, "Ok. Thank you" and hung up. I searched the internet for this company and this site came up, so I decided to add my experience.
