Hi, My sister in law received a call today telling her she had won a trip to Miami and Cancun. We live in Australia - so I called the Local number and requested a Company registration number only to find out that the business doesn't operate from Australia but from the USA. After being transfered to 3 different people - I spoke with a guy by the name of Mike who did his best Not to sound Indian.I asked him for the Business registration number so that I could confirm whether it is a legit company..he stated that he wasn't allowed to give me the number . I have advised my sister In law Not to provide them with a Credit card number because she was asked to do so in order to reserve the Holiday.
Not sure what to think is it a scam or not?

On October 17th I too was offered a holiday by 'Four Vacations'.The agents' names were Mitchell Johnson and Sebastian O'Brian. There is a company called "Travel Four Vacations", based at 482 Notch Road, West Paterson, NJ 07424, USA. Tel: 00 -1-973.812.4949. email: [email protected].
When I phoned the British telephone number 0870-479-1821 to ask for their address, "Mark Anthony" put the phone down.
Unfortunately I WAS conned - they took USA Government taxes from my credit card, and gave me the phone number 00-1-407-506-0539 as that of a Legal Verification Department. I could not find such a department as "FCCA" on-line, although there is an “FCA”
I am now in negotiations with Mastercard and with the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary to try and reclaim the money - also, I should quite like to catch the crooks and send them to jail!
Sorry I have no further details - no-one seems to know anything about this prize competition which I am supposed to have won.

I also got a similar call on 18th Oct 2008. Saying that I have a holiday for 4 in Florida.They claimed to be from Mastercard and extracted my credit card details. I have not received any communication after that. I wanted to cancel it but this phone number never connects. I am also going to report a fraud to my bank stating that this is a illegal transaction.
