I called it back- automated message saying that i recently signed up with one of their "associated" companies- to receive a $100 (free!) gift certificate- Press 1 to receive, press 2 to be placed on the do not call list...
I also got a 2 ring call then hang up! Reward redemption is what they say it is.
"It only rang once. There was not enough time to answer. I'm not sure what the point of that is."
I agree! So I called the#: Press 1 to claim $100 gift card or Press 2 to be put on Do Not Call list!
I pressed 1 and was put on hold w/crappy hold music for about 5 minutes. When answered a woman answered, she immediately asked me for my name and number to "see what I qualify for". I told her that i wanted the $100 rebate card and they promptly hung up. Called back and "Carolyn" said I qualify for $100 in rebates! but i had to pay for shipping which she started out at $6.95 and started in on more costs to receive my "free" gift cards! At this point I said no thanks, that it sounds like I have to pay for everything shipped and it would run in excess of $20. She started in trying to get me to pay, i said no thanks and she still continued to try get my card#! So I finally hung up on her while she was STILL trying to get my card#! Unbelievable!!!!!
